mental health programs and services for
educators in schools

headspace Schools & Communities provides a range of programs and services to schools and universities across Australia to equip young people and those who support them to manage their individual and collective wellbeing.

How headspace Schools & Communities can help

headspace Schools & Communities partners with schools, school communities and education systems to support young people, parents and carers, and school staff.

We provide services nationally and can work with schools in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote areas. We provide tailored support that is evidence informed and responsive to local needs.

Our work is guided by four key focus areas:

  1. Building mental health literacy and resilience in young people.
  2. Supporting educators and school staff with training and resources.
  3. Partnering with communities to strengthen responses to mental health needs.
  4. Working together after critical incidents including suicide and attempted suicide.

Through these focus areas we aim to strengthen mental health outcomes for young people and build connected, resilient school communities.
